Marketing Manager (SEO Specialism)

Job Summary 

Your primary role is to create and implement SEO strategies and ultimately deliver results for Repeat’s own brand. We expect you to have top-notch SEO knowledge, both on-page and off-page. This ranges from making sure the site is technically brilliant and building links, to crafting awesome page and blog content to help drive us forward.

In addition to the SEO side of things, we’re looking for you to help elevate the Repeat brand and put it in front of the right people. This may involve creating social content, email marketing and creative campaigns. There will be flexibility in the role as long as they align with the measurables below.

Measurables

Over the first 3 months of your role, we need to be certain that you can independently, and collaboratively, create an SEO strategy, implement it and continuously optimise/review the strategy.

This can be gauged in the following ways:

  • In-house results. Including:
    • Increased organic traffic
    • More backlinks generated
    • Quality content produced
    • Amount of leads generated for the business
  • How much support you require 
  • General feedback/feeling from Repeat management

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
  • Be familiar with and use a wide range of SEO tools including Screaming Frog, SERanking, Semrush & many more
  • Monitor and build domain authority link-building strategies, website optimisation, content marketing & CRO
  • Completing detailed keyword research in a time-efficient manner
  • Working with WordPress website CMS
  • Collaborating with our PPC & SEO team to help create awesome content
  • Creating and posting quality content on our socials
  • Completing award submissions for the business
  • Writing press releases for the company
  • Reporting results to Repeat management
  • Keeping up to date with the latest digital marketing news and features

Experience

  • Experience managing SEO for multiple websites
  • Experience independently creating and implementing SEO strategies for multiple websites, from start to ongoing management
  • Delivered substantial improvements to traffic and rankings on websites you have completed SEO work on, within a reasonable time frame
  • Completed detailed keyword research in a time-efficient manner for tens, if not hundreds, of websites
  • Detailed technical knowledge of key SEO tools such as Semrush/Ahrefs & Screaming Frog
  • Experience writing high-quality blog/webpage content that is SEO-optimised
  • Detailed knowledge of WordPress CMS, specifically the ability to complete key SEO improvements, such as changing and adding metas, headings, content, or add code to a site
  • Advanced knowledge and practical experience in Google Analytics & reporting on the data
  • On-page and off-page optimisation, including link building
  • Completed technical audits in a time-efficient manner for tens, if not hundreds, of websites
  • Digital PR knowledge is valuable
  • Graphic designs skills are valuable
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, more advanced knowledge is extremely valuable

Salary

The salary range for this position is £26,000 – £40,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.

Office Location

Our office is based in Long Eaton, right next to the train station. It’s modern, spacious with breakout areas and has plenty of car parking spaces.
