SEO Account Executive

Job Summary 

Your primary role is to assist with the execution of SEO and content strategies by carrying out tasks in collaboration with the SEO and marketing teams. We expect you to have a strong interest in digital marketing and SEO, with solid experience in content generation and optimisation.


Over the first three months of your role, we need to be sure that you can independently work on tasks, adhere to SEO strategies and begin to implement them for both ourselves and our clients. 

We can gauge this in the following ways:

  • Amicable working with the SEO team
  • Client results (increase in client measurables)
  • Repeat Digital website metrics (increase in our measurables)
  • How much support is required on tasks
  • General feedback and feeling from Repeat management

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute tasks as part of a successful SEO strategy, primarily on-page optimisation, content creation and link building
  • Be familiar with and use a wide range of SEO tools, including Screaming Frog, SERanking, Semrush & many more
  • Completing detailed keyword research in a time-efficient manner
  • Working within a CMS, for example, WordPress, Shopify and more
  • Collaborating with the PPC department on mutual clients and tasks
  • Building great relationships with clients and the Repeat Team
  • Reporting results to clients & Repeat management
  • Balancing & prioritising a pool of tasks whilst strictly keeping within set hours for each client
  • Engaging with internal solutions & processes, such as & Clockify
  • Keeping up to date with the latest SEO news and features
  • Support with Repeat’s general marketing activities

Desired Experience

  • Experience creating SEO content for websites (in-house or agency)
  • Experience independently working on SEO strategies for multiple websites
  • Delivered substantial improvements in traffic and leads for websites
  • Completed detailed keyword research in a time-efficient manner 
  • Detailed technical knowledge of SEO tools such as Semrush
  • Experience writing high-quality SEO-optimised copy for a variety of sites
  • Detailed knowledge of WordPress and other popular CMS.
  • Changing and adding metadata, headings, content, or code to a site
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Google Analytics
  • On-page and off-page optimisation, including link building
  • Completed technical audits in a time-efficient manner for multiple sites
  • Created quality SEO reports for sending to clients
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS

Salary and Progression

We want you to bring your best to the table, and we reward our high-performers by offering ample progression within the role and beyond.

The salary range for this position is £22,000 – £27,000
