SEO Account Manager

Job summary 

Your primary role is to create and implement SEO strategies for and work closely with our clients. We expect you to have a strong interest in digital marketing and an even stronger understanding of Search Engine Optimisation. 

Measurables

Over the first 3 months of your role, we need to be certain that you can independently create SEO strategies, implement them for our clients and continuously optimise/review the campaigns, whilst maintaining a great relationship with them and keeping them happy!                            

This can be gauged in the following ways:

  • Client retention
  • Client results
  • Client risk
  • How much support you require 
  • General feedback/feeling from Repeat management

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
  • Be familiar and use a wide range of SEO tools including Screaming Frog, SERanking, Semrush & many more
  • Overlook and monitor client domain authority building strategies, website optimisation, content marketing & CRO
  • Completing detailed keyword research in a time efficient manner
  • Working with client CMS’s which can include WordPress, Shopify and more
  • Collaborating with the PPC department on mutual clients
  • Building great relationships with clients
  • Reporting results to clients & Repeat management
  • Balancing & prioritising a client pool whilst strictly keeping within set hours for each client
  • Engaging with internal solutions & processes, such as Monday.com & Clockify
  • Keeping up to date with the latest SEO news and features
  • Support with Repeat’s marketing activities
  • Assisting the sales team with proposals & audit

Desired Experience

  • Experience managing SEO for multiple websites, preferably in an agency setting
  • Experience independently creating and implementing SEO strategies for multiple websites, from start to ongoing management
  • Delivered substantial improvements to traffic and rankings on websites they have completed SEO work on, within a reasonable time frame
  • Completed detailed keyword research in a time efficient manner for tens, if not hundreds, of websites
  • Detailed technical knowledge of key SEO tools such as Semrush/Ahrefs & Screaming Frog
  • Experience writing high quality copy that is SEO optimised, for a variety of websites
  • Detailed knowledge of WordPress CMS, specifically the ability to complete key SEO improvements, such as changing and adding metas, headings, content, or add code to a site
  • Advanced knowledge and practical experience of Google Analytics
  • On-page and off-page optimisation, including link building
  • Completed technical audits in a time efficient manner for tens, if not hundreds, of websites
  • Created SEO proposals and contributed to SEO sales pitches 
  • Created quality SEO reports for sending to clients
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS

Salary

The salary range for this position is £28,000 – £35,000 (dependent on experience).

Office Location

Our office is based in Long Eaton, right next to the train station. It’s modern, spacious with breakout areas and has plenty of car parking spaces.
